Some people are of the belief that investigating agencies and police goes against law abiding citizens and play in the hands of mighty and richs. The police and investigating agencies are accused of adopting biased attitude and double standard while dealing with the complaints of the general public. Is it possible for the police and investigating agencies to go against the general wisdom of public and risk their legitimacy in the long run? Why does super cops and supreme investigators apears to be resembling to devil/demon brains when their subordinates turn oversmart while dealing with publik affairs?

Yes it is possible.

The reason so much doubt and suspicions evolves around higher ranks of law enforcement is due to their amount of undisputed power.

A friend of mine once tried telling a judge in court that the cop involved was dating her ex. and had personal reasons, etc... The judge told her to shut up then explained that those cops were like his children.

The ppl feel powerless.

Law Enforcement personnel are still human beings and they are subject to the discretion of their superiors who might be influenced by the rich and famous. Thus, there are instances when justice is tilted against the poor. In order to avoid this predicament , people must properly address the situation like reporting the abusive official to their superior or exposing them in media.
