I'm a college student in the US who's been in contact with people from the middle east, specifically in Iraq, through the use of a forum (bulletin board) system. It's been a rewarding experience, and I was wondering if there was a forum like that for china, written in english, especially if its geared towards chinese college students. I am just looking to contact people my age in china, and talk with them. Anyone help me out?

I wont be able to answer your question but I'll give you my opinion.
I live in HK and I'm european. If I want to get onto the net and find anything local, it will be bound to be in Chinese. I've been here for over 14 years so I can read, but it is still not my favorite way of surfing the net, or even go to Yahoo answers HK!
China...seems even worse than that. First there might be some net restrictions for them on what they are allowed to surf and not allowed to surf.
Why dont you try to go to the Chinese Consulate or Economic Commission in your state to get some info if they have exchange pen-pals.
Hopefully someone will be able to help you out!
