Make sure that you are steering clear of all products that contain mineral oil, believe me, this product is already bad for anyone's skin and WORSE for skin that is prone to oil. MOST products contain it, even makeup/moisturizers made by clinque. Try using all natural products (Aveda and/or Origins are good places). Origins has a COMPLETE regimen that you could use on your skin and get rid of oil. Exfoliating twice a week is great, and then following up with an active charcoal mask; which draws out all of the impurities in your skin. (Origins has "modern friction" exfoliant, great for bringing out your natural skin lusters, evening out your skin tone and with the size of your pores/ they also have "clear improvement" mask, which has the active charcoal and china clay, both REALLY great for oily pores and also good for black heads (if you have a problem them).
Also a good toner; a toner is used to help equal out your ph balance (Origins has one specified for oily skin called "Oil Refiner".) That is one thing that people do not realize. When your ph balance is uneven, that is where you get "really dry" and in your case "oily". Doing the mask/exfoliator twice a week, the toner every day and a good moisturizer (remember to watch out for mineral oil), a good one is "Matte Scientist", by origins; it's actually an oil controlling lotion. Sticking to that regimen, and staying away from face washes/moisturizers/makeup with mineral oil in it, you'll ALWAYS be shine free.
P.S. Visit an origins in your area, or go online to origins.com. Origins has a guarantee, if you buy something and it's not doing what you thought it would do, they will find the RIGHT thing for YOU (EVERYONE'S skin type is different), and/or even give you your money back. Not only that, they can give you free samples of ANYTHING you want to try. They have a great program, "try before you buy". Take it home, try it out.. I know that you will be pleased, g'luck! =)

Professional makeup has great lasting power (Cinema Secrets,
RCMA etc), but if you want to buy and color match at a drugstore then you can't go past Revlon Colorstay (many, many makeup artists use this for weddings due to its lasting power even though they also have professional brands in their kit).
The original formula which has been discontinued had unbelievable staying power. The new formula is nearly as good, easier to apply ( more time before setting) and more comfortable.
Also remember to set your makeup with a light dusting of setting powder which will also make a difference as to how long your look lasts. Those with rice powder really set makeup extra well.
There are also waterproof products on the market as well as primers/oil control lotions but all these vary in their effectiveness. Try before you buy and start with a good moisturiser that doesn't make you geasy!

Mary Kay oil mattifier BEFORE putting on make-up. This product changed my face! You can also dab it on during the day, over your make-up and it will dry all the oil right up. Trust me, I live in a very humid climate and already had oily skin before I moved here.

Unclogging your pores, is a good way to heal oily skin. Get a face scrub made specifically for unclogging your pores, also drink lots of mineral or spring water.

you know oily skin is a curse/blessing.
When you get older you will appricate the fact that you have oily skin. People with dry skin wrinkle faster than ones with oily skins.
Have you tried Bare Essenials?

stay away from foundations with oils and try to find a good powder based foundation... also make sure you wash your face before you put any makeup on.

my best suggestion is try powders. or that matte mouse stuff. they also have the little pad type things or compacts (i have one from mac that works awesome!!!) that controls the oil and shine.
