Do you know someone who's had a heart attack?

did they quit eating junk food and straighten up, or are they still smoking and drinking, etc?

Yes and I still smoke but I don't eat as much junk food or drink and carry on all hours of the night. Now I'm usually home by 5:30 am

Yes, some people stopped smoking and eating junk food, some just continued to do what they had been doing before.

My dad had a heart attack at age 55 and he has never smoked or drank and he is very active. He occasionally eats junk food but not an unhealthy amount. In his case it was mainly genetics. Not all heart disease can be linked to an unhealthy lifestyle.

Yes, being a nurse, I have known quite a few. Most of them straighten up and fly right. Our hospital has an excellent cardiac rehab program.

Yes......my husband did in May of 1999 and luckily he has had no problems again,so we are very thankful for that !
He doesn't drink....sometimes he eats healthy but not all the time ♥

Hi Delia, It was my soulmate. He almost die. This really open up his eyes and he enjoys life to it's fullness. He stop smoking and watches what he eats. It was a wake up call. A Friend.

my father. he died. but he was not smoking, drinking and eating junk food.
