shes a oscar pretty good size shes been laying down more often the she usta do shes got it prie half a inch on her face -both sides-HELP!!

they get stuff called hole in the head --
does it look like holes?
white and fuzzy would be columnaris which is a bacteria
ugh these people -- fish seldom get fungus and if they do it looks like mucus.
columnaris looks like fuzzy fungus but it is a bacteria and you treat it with antibiotics or a salt bath.

sounds like white spot if you can take digital photo and show someone at fish shop they will be able to recommend correct treatment for fishy friend you will have to treat whole tank if fish is removed from that tank anyway so don,t panic just treat the whole lot ok

That sounds like a fungal infection. Mardel makes a medicine called Maroxy. You can get it at Petco, or Petsmart. You may even have to separate her from the tank until she recovers.

SHE MIGHT HAVE ANIMONIA WICH CAN BE CAUSED BY USING NEW THINGS LIKE FILTER PADS,ROCKS,TANKS,EVEN PUTTING A FISH THAT HAS IT IN YOUR TANK CAN KILL THE OTHER FISH TOO'BUT THE OTHER BUT THE OTHER FISH WONT GET WHITE SPOTS THEYLL JUST DIE IT CAN BE CURED WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS IF TREATED CORRECTLY!FISH SHOULD BE FINE IF U ASK A PET STORE ABOUT SOMETHING 4 IT AND THE OTHERS~*WELL BYE*~

I'd treat with maracyn plus for columnaris bacteria. If that doesn't help, look up information on hole-in-the-head disease.

Fungus go to walmart and by some treatment for Fungus asap!

she prob has a fungus on her face.... and it is killing her... not to be harsh
