I ask this because someone who I am very interested in, relationship-wise, was born on February 19th. Although I am skeptical of astrology, a Gemini (what I am) and Aquarius are a great match, yet Gemini and Pisces (the sign that comes after aquarius) are not quite as compatible, traditionally. So, is Feb 19th considered Aquarius or Pisces? or does the cusp have any effect on the situation? thanks for your help in advance

If it matters, the person was born in 1987 (is turning 20 this feb 19th). Any info about that year in particular?

Okay, she was born on Feb 19th, 1987 in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. Any idea if, at that time, the sun was in Aquarius or Pisces?

Great, this question covered a great portion of my life...My b-day is 2/19 as well. It is on the CUSP, as astrologers call it. Most places hold me as a Pisces, others an Aquarius. I personally have found that the last portion of Aquarius and the beginning of Pisces really fit my personality, circumstances in most readings.
Also, I was married to a Gemini---great guy; none-the-less, other life circumstances ended the marriage after 13 years. Don't put too much stock in these things. Enjoy and treat them as 'entertainment' only. Most sites are so general they could fit your pet born on a certain day. Good luck with your girl. Note: If she is the life of the party, takes center stage attention...she is more Aquarius. If she is passive, generous with self/time giving to others...she is more Pisces.

FIRST, let me just say that you as a Gemini could find love with anyone. The stars do not discriminate! There is not really such a thing as the perfect match. There are more favorable matches, but not perfect. And yes, Gemini's would have a more favorable matchup with Aquarius than Pisces.

The cusp is the time when the Sun changes into the next Zodiac sign. This person you are interested in is born on the cusp. Every year the Sun changes to Pisces between Feb 18th and 20th.

Now about your question:

It depends on 3 things.

1) Year - It changes every year. If you think of it just as the Spring Equinox, it can be March 20th or March 23rd...depending on the year.

2) Birthtime - Because the Sun changes at a specific time, this is the difference between being one or the other. Example: Let's say that the year that your interest was born in 1977 at 3:00 pm, and let's say that the time that Aquarius changes to Pisces is 5:00 pm. This would mean that your interest is most likely an Aquarius.

And

3) Birthplace - You need a birthplace because of daylight savings time. Because not all countries have adopted Daylight Savings time, you interest could be little tougher to decipher. If he or she was born here in the US, that's easy, but in countries like Austrailia or Russia, where they are closer to the International Dateline, this would make it very difficult.

Anyway, I hope that I have helped you understand a little better.

I hope that I have helped you understand this a little better.

Good Luck!

I think that year it was on the 19th. Now the question is her birth time.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquarius_%28astrology%29
Aquarius ends on February 19th.

I am a Pisces and I get along with Geminis. I think horoscopes can be sort of a guide; but nothing is written in stone.
