Does Link unsheathe his sword (mastersword) without slashing at the same instant ?

during most of the game he has his sword unsheathed unless he is climbing or swinning. he unsheaths it without slashing by putting up your sheild and when approaching a enemy.

To get the swords to be unsheated you have to hit the action button. Or else you will just walk about with your sword in your suit or somthing.

yes, he does. He also slashes his sword with the kokiri sword . But not the REAL big goron sword, it's too big. ( I'm not sure about the fake ones)
