What was Romeo and Juliet's predicament?

Come up with a better plan for these "star-crossed lovers." Can you think of a solution that would bring about a better ending to the play?

No because then it wouldn't be a Shakespearean Tragedy. It has to end the way it did. One of the best stories ever. "Othello" is also a favorite of mine. See the movie with Lawrence Fishburn in it as Othello.
