Yes, it is a religious war. I was 20 blocks from the World Trade Center when they both went down. I knew that people died at that moment and that many more were going to die in years to come. But I was wrong, the deaths we have seen the last five years were not for 9/11 retribution but because the Christian Right always had an agenda for mostly economics but are masking it as a religious right. EVERYONE NEEDS TO RELAX AND JUST ENJOY THE SHORT TIME WE HAVE ON THIS EARTH.

Right now Yes...it's a war with sectarian violence which the U.S. coalition forces are attempting to get under control. This will enable the new Iraqi government to get down to business and work on their new democracy.
The difference between Iraq, Iran and Israel? They run their politics by religion, and we have a separation of Church and State to keep our heads about us. We are a majority of Christians, however, the Federal Government makes most of the rules...and we're the players in this game.

No not with the US! What war are you talking of ? The religious jihad fanatics and zionist,or the multi-religious US troops.....US is not fighting for anything else, but mistakes made by the US, and Iraqis future right now. No solider that I know is killing anyone then claiming it publicly in the name of Jesus from the US - then there are those who are doing it (killing thier own people also, armed and unarmed, military or civilian) in the name of Allah and are also the same ethnicity(Iraqis), that is also puzzling, how much they hate each other - more then Americans - because of religious differences.

No this is not a religious war. The US has no state religion, the people fighting in the military are all of various religious backgrounds... We have Muslims from the region helping us track people who are carrying illegal IDs and weaponry, they're helping us translate.
If it was a religious war, those people wouldn't be helping us, we wouldn't be helping Iraq get back on their feet..... it would have been executed completely differently.

this is partly a religious war. it started between the muslims and the christian/jews back when jews unlawfully stole palestine. this was the way for the west to get their foot in the doorto the middle east. god blessed muslims with oil. well the majority of oil. the west knew that oil was the resource that the worlds economy is running off of. so the jews were placed in palestine aliein themselves with the west in fact jews are more rleigious extremeists because they claim it is their religious right to dwell in palestine. that in it self is religious extremeism. if you take land away from muslims and plop jews in a land and call it their land, opress muslims then of corse it is you who is the foundation of the problem. and as we all know morally taught in schools world wide common sense tells you flat out when you take something that does not belong to you and you start a problem it is you who is responsible for all the after math. all of this fighting and bloodshed of the innocent is on the hands of the west. how ever this is not just a war of religion. it is also a war of greed, power, and securing resources. the west has a plan of first attacking iraq which they already have to take over their oil, then to attack iran, then syria, and so on down the line. lebonon was already attacked an it's governmeny formation corrupted by the west. this is all precivd to be like a dmino effect by the hands of the west. to whole point in this is to suck the middle east dry of oil. get the west richer. once the oil runs out the west will move onto new victim. this is if china does not get to the west first. religion is just the "word" that is being used as the cause of this war. it is really about money and power.
