im attending a coming out party this friday and i want to wear this dress with a very low neck line, but i don't want to catch any attention since its not my night. i need suggestions on how i can cover it up or lessen the lowness of the neck line
additional info i don't want to buy a new dress just for a 1 night event and bcoz i recently bought a new dress. i don't like wearing shawl i tend to be forgetful and its too much hassle.

huh. just go out and buy a new dress. if this a dress that you have had for awhile the you know what kind of a reaction you will get. so do what u think is best for u. if it was my day i'd make a big statment and walk proud

You can try these:
1. A nice scarf that you can tuck into the neck line
2. A silk or lacy camisole or tube top
3. A triangular shawl that you can throw over and hold it together around the base of the neck line with a brooch to prevent it from falling/ slipping.

It kinda depends on the style of dress. If its a wrap style, you could put a snap high enough that it would cover you, or you could possibly get some sort of camisole underneath that would compliment the fabric/color of the dress- either a lacy one or a smooth one, depending on the dress. Definitely dont wear a push up bra!

I like to use a scarf that i can tuck into the neckline, this covers more flesh. and it's not expensive.
use a pin or broch to attatch it.
try to have the scarf a shade lighter than your dress, or darker,
no prints.
this is the way to go, and a 3-5 strands of necklace too!

well, it's pretty hard to wear a very low neckline and NOT catch attention. pretty much impossible.
you can fill in the bare skin on your chest with jewelry or try wearing jewels in your hair, but honestly, girl, call your friends and borrow some other dress for the night or for sure you'll upstage the debutante

You can wear several strands of necklaces to cover it up. If it is a casual dress you can wear a shirt or tank under it.
