and they got offended and his whole family hates you..what do you do? how do you approach the problem. you still like your friend but the family (catholic conservative) hates you! and wants to see you suffer..(considering i truly believe my friend is gay)

It's not your job to inform anyone they are gay. It sounds to me like you like sticking your nose in where it doesnt belong. Even if you are right it is not your place to say anything. You got what you deserved. Most of us have enough sense to keep some thoughts to ourselves.

Ok, so you told your friend you were gay, he told his family and now they all hate you? If that is correct, then he isn't really a good friend, is he? If he knows that his family is conservative catholic and he told them knowing how their reaction would be then you can find better friends. He violated your trust and until he apologizes you should not have anything to do with him.

Why would you go around telling a friend's family that he is gay when you apparently hadn't even talked to him about it yet? You have some major apologies to give, but you still deserve whatever you get for doing something that stupid.

I would shrug off the evil family, and go straight to my friend. I would apologize, and then I would honestly tell my friend WHY I thought he/she was gay. I would also leave the door open for my friend to confide in me, if he/she wanted to. I would also let them know that I care about them, and that it wouldn't change our friendship at all. If your friend says he/she is not gay, I would believe him/her. You cant tell if someone is gay, that is a private thing, and really is no ones buisness.

first of all you didnt have that right to judge him. but since you already did then ask him to forgive you. but if he is gay whats it to you? all you can do is be a friend and love him, that doesnt mean to accept his actions but its always better to love then be the accuser--besides who gave you that right?
