Hello,
I am sure this question had been asked here many many times. But i m asking cuz i m worried.
I am 22, over weight, had my last period of jan 2nd. I had protected sex last month on 15th of Jan. My avg cycle is 32-35 days. After sex, I made sure the condom didnt break.

I go to gym regularly from the past 6 months. But lately, i am not losing weight. I do have stress because of studies but being a science student, i am always in stress.

I am worried about my periods. My mom will ask me in couple of days about the reason for not getting periods and if i dont get it, she might takes me to the doctor. Just to be sure, i also took a home preg test and it was negative. Do u think i might still get pregnant. I am going through a stressful time. I could care less if i hadnt had sex. But i m 95% sure it didnt go in me
Do i still have chance to get pregnant even if a drop of sperm might went in. Please dont judge me, as my boyfriend is already being harsh with me these days.

Hi there,
there are various reasons for late period, some are down to weight and hormonal problems. there is no link with stress and lack of period commencing. and as for teh sex, as long as you ddnt have unprotected sex and the condom ddnt break seems to me you arent pregnant, esp. with the pregnancy test turning up negative. best bet is to go to the doctors so they can run blood tests, etc and make sure eerything is okay. being over weight, (and i dont mean to be mean), sometime causes fertility problems.
hope it all works out and good luck with the studies.
ps dnt tke no crap from ur boyfriend

Since the pregnancy test came back negative and the condom didn't break and you are 100% sure you had protective sex then the chances are slim that you are pregnant. Still wait a week and take another if you don't start. Since you are overweight, not loosing weight, your periods are irregular and you have stress and your boyfriend is not helping with his harshness, you should see 3 doctors. A endocrinologist to get tested for several things such as hypothyroidism and diabetes. A gynocolgist to check why your periods are so irregular, see if you may have some underlying condition such as polycistic ovarion syndrome(PCOS) or endimitriosis. Also get tested for STD's and get your Pap done! And a psychiatrist to deal with your stress and anxiety.
If your boyfriend is being abusive in anyway to you then you need to dump him. Boys come and go, there is only one you. trust me!

sometimes your period just won't come as expected, but its ok. it doesnt mean you are preganant. Stress can play a part in irregular periods often. I would take the preg test(use EPT-digital) again. Yes, a drop of sperm can do the trick if its strong enough! Seriously though, if you know at 22 you arent ready for kids and your BF is harsh w/ you because you might be pregnant, then he is not worth keeping anyway. when you have kids make sure its with someone you dont mind dealing with for the rest of that child's life--because there is no getting rid of them once the baby is here.

darkish brown blood is only old blood. no longer something to pressure about. the hot cramps might want to be due on your body getting used to the hot pill. And comfortable breast is likewise a PMS symptom. I easily have each and every so often had stinging after sex, i imagine it may well be because of the numerous acidity of semen, and the abrasive nature of sex. once you've a UTI it might want to deliver tears to yor eyes, no longer sting a touch. and also you look freaking out an obsessing over each and every thing, even no matter if it isn't something so both pass on to the well being care provider or...pass to the drug save, purchase a pregancy attempt, a stuff for a UTI and midol. Cranberry juice is sturdy for UTI. this can answer all of your maximum urgent questions. If the indicators and discomfort very last after a month then you particularly opt to pass t the well being care provider.

actually stress and excercise both can make your period irregular. i kind of doubt you are pregnant, but just the stress of thinking you are can make ur period late. so i guess my only advice to you is to stop worrying about it, relax, lay off on the exercise for a lil bit and see if you start. if not you may want to see a doc. chances are its just stress tho.

This sounds like it could probably be a hormone imbalance as well. I would recommend going ahead and talking to your dr about this to see what they think in case it isn't stress related.

Not all periods come once a month. It is normal to have abnormal periods. I asked my doctor about the same thing and this is how he answered me.
