I'm sexually active, but i do use condoms. I heard somewhere that you could still be pregnant even if it looks like your period. what should I do?

If you have been using condoms properly, then you won't be pregnant. And if you have your period then it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant.
What are you going to do - do a pregnancy test every month for the rest of your life?

Do you have any pregnancy symptoms? Yes it is possible to get your period while pregnant. I have done tons of research on it because I think that I am pregnant. If you think you are, don't risk it and just go ahead and take a test. Good luck!

Apparently, it is quite rare to still get your period whilst pregnant. You can still get implantation bleeding around the time your period is due. It is very light, quite crampy and lasts for only a day. Good luck and keep using the rubbers if you aren't quite ready for motherhood.

Most likley your not but it is true that some girls have their period even thoe they are preg I know this because I did so It doesnt hurt to check but most likley your not because condoms are 99% safe and period is another 75% so thier is a little little chance !

if it is a healthy regular period, u r not pg. u may have spotting here and there but a 5 day period is not normal. your period is basically the UNFERTILIZED egg and the uterine wall breaking up and shedding. the wall thickens in anticipation of a baby attaching to it but if the egg is not fertilized -no baby . if it were to happen, the baby probably wouldnt make it -no wall to attach to.

look at a calander we will use the 1st thru the 30.You will be able to get preg around the 14th then give it 2 days on each side so the 10-15th.if you had protected sex then you shoulnt' worry.You shouldnt' be active if your unsure of your own body. Cervical cancer is caused by multiple partners at an early age....NO SEX IS WORTH DYING FOR....please reconsider your actions....best of luck..(ps I'm mom of a teenage daughter and I was a mom at 15 yrs old.)The boys aren't going to "LOVE" you because you give them sex.....

I had my period several times with both my pregnancies. If you may be pregnant get a home test.

Take a pee test just to be sure and then find a method of birth control to use so you don't have to worry about this.

Get on birth control so you don't get pregnant when the condom breaks.
