Even though I have a girlfriend… my ex-girlfriend knows this—she gives me a teddy bar and chocolate candy for early Valentines Day. Why is she doing this? When my girlfriend finds out she will be angry.

Well because she still has feeling's for you, and or she wants to show how she appreciates you for who you are. Ask her why? If you don't like gifts from her, then don't take them, and let her know how you feel. Your girlfriend needs to understand that shes a girlfriend, not your wife! Girl's just need to stop acting controlling and possessive. You should be able to stay friends with your ex girlfriends if you want to. I'm married and still talk to my ex boyfriends, my husband has friends, so why shouldn't I keep my friends. Good luck!

Maybe that's the point? To get your current girlfriend jealous. To your ex it's kind of a control thing. Or, she's just a nice person and still cares about you as a friend. Depends on your past with her and what kind of person she is.

Sounds like she is tying to keep herself "tied" to you, and make you current girlfriend jealous. If you have stated your position with her, then I would just ignore her, eat the chocolates with your current girlfriend, and give the teddy bear to your dog, as a chew toy!

Well could be that she wants your girl friend to be pis*ed at you. Also could be cause she still really likes you and just wanted to give you a valentines gift.
