Ok, I have a lot of problems with this. Both the question itself and the answers its getting.
First off, to all the people saying "Well he graduated from Harvard and Yale so he must be smart" obviously have no idea either of what his grades were in Harvard and Yale (C-range) or that anyone from a rich, politically connected Connecticut family (like the Bushes) can get through any Ivy League school without doing anything at all. Had Dubya not been born to George Senior, he wouldnt have had a snowballs chance in hell of getting into either one of those schools.
Now, Im not saying that Bush isnt intelligent because of his grades. I know I'm intelligent and yet in high school my grades were about the same as Mr. Bush's. Both his and my grades prove nothing except that neither of us were motivated to work very hard.
I think there are several possibilities regarding Bush. I think its possible that he has some kind of speaking problem, maybe dyslexia or something along those lines. But I doubt it.
I personally believe that Bush acts stupid on purpose. Ive watched him very closely, and Ive noticed a few things about him.
1) He has a great sense of humor, not a stupid one at all.
2) He has a smirk, a clear smirk. The kind of smirk that seems to say "Wow, look at all these idiots making fun of the way I act stupid while I win both elections and do whatever the hell I want."
Thats what it is people. Thats what the reality is. Bush acts stupid on purpose because then, his opponents underestimate him. When youre fighting a war, theres no better strategy than convincing your enemy youre an idiot until the moment when you completely crush them in one blow. The democrats laughed at him the entire way through the 2000 campaign. They just sat back and laughed, and he made it to the white house. Then the democrats got pissed, and made fun of him even more. They made him out to be a total retard, and he played their little game, until the 2004 election, when he turned around and kicked their asses once again. If hes so stupid how does he beat them every time around?? Thats a tough question eh?
I mean honestly, look at this:

Come on, that has "scripted" written all over it. Its just too perfect to be real. Not to mention all the time hes used the word "was" correctly before and since. Dont tell me hes an idiot, youre the idiot if you believe that, because your people have lost two elections to him, and you STILL HAVENT CAUGHT ON!

By the way if your sick of America and you happen to be an American, there is a simple solution... move away. your not fixing the problem by writing ignorant questions on yahoo answers. But my guess is you don't have solutions to offer, only bile and ignorance.
If your not an American, well then you probably don't really understand America, so your point of view is skewed and well.... irrelevant.
BTW if he is as dumb as you would like to think, just consider the fact he was smart enough to get elected president twice and was a qualified pilot... Both of which actually require quite a bit of intelligence.
How many planes are you qualified to fly and what is the highest office you have been elected too?

i think its halarious that someone tried to justify the presidents intelligents based on where he went to school, now that is truly assinine...its not very difficult to get into harvard or yale when ure father is who his father is. Bush only scored 1210 on his sat's not much higher then national average hows that for intelligence
