Too much is when you are constantly all over her, and she feels like you're her shadow. None of us likes that. Just right is very individual, and you learn by watching her response to you. The best advice I can offer: make sure you give her a kiss when you wake up, when you leave for work, when you come home, and when you say good night. Hold her when she is afraid, hug her when she's happy, or worried, and let her know it's okay to curl up in your arms whenever she wants to. That is the best way to go. Everything else comes naturally, on its own, if you really listen to her, and watch her reactions.

If you feel smothered I would say that is too much affection. If you become uncomfortable with the thought of his being around, then there may be too much affection.

Too much affection COULD mean a possessive personality on his part or it could just mean he absolutely adores you.

If you aren't comfortable with too much affection, then I suggest you HONESTLY and I can't stress how much honesty is important...just kindly and with respect for his feelings, tell him what you are uncomfortable about.
When telling him remember there are different forms of communication...facial expression, body language, and tone of voice. Make an appt. to talk. That way he won't be on the defense and will be more open to listen and to talk.
Go by your "gutt" feelings. I find the gutt feelings are usually right.
Hope this helps !!!

Affection is great. It depends on the individual person or couple.
I like affection, but I also like my space and dont want someone up my butt.
You need to also discuss this with your partner so the two of you can have a handle on things and be on the ssame level.
open communiation is the key to a healthy relationship

You should show affection, but not in public. At home, offer to snuggle on the sofa or in the bedroom. Most women will enjoy that. Kissing in public is frowned on, except for the good-bye or hello smack.

Everyone loves affection, but TOO much, and I mean constantly, can be a little sufficating sometime. Everybody needs a little "breathing" room, too.

You should ask your partner. For me personally, I enjoy affection at almost all times. I'm not opposed to kissing in public either and then some haha, but seriously, that's just me.

Nothing is too much.... but of cos, dun get caught having sex in the public, hahaha...

A little squeeze on her hand while watching movie, walking is sweet... stealing kisses are sweet... a simple hug everyday is addictive too... Just follow your heart and also ask her what she likes.

Too much affection is when it makes you feel not free.
When you feel you lose your personality.

On the other hand, too little is when it makes you feel that you do not belong.

The right portion is when you both feel free to belong!

If he hugs me at home...fine
At my parents.... also fine
Supermarket or any other public place...... too much affection.

I love affection but when the I love you's and hugs are too often I question the sincerity and that's when I consider it too much affection.... When the gestures loose their meanings

If you care/love someone, I don't think you could ever give them too much affection.
