My husband has always said to me that he is not the "gift giving type" birthdays xmas etc it's always the same...i have to ask for the gifts i never have recieved anything without me mentioning it or asking for something.this valentines day i just gave up decided that im not going to ask or care at all,coz if i don't mention it then nothing will be said....i used to get him gifts and things all the time but he didnt even take 5 minds to think of me...i know that its all a big commercial thing etc etc..but it wouldnt hurt to show someone u love them on an appropriate occasion such as this..

well it seems that you have already decided not to ask him or tell him about it. you know he just may surprize you , cause he is expensing you not to think that he is going to give you something. Some people have problems showing there emotions, and expressing themself, maybe his parents did not do the hoildays, and so it has been that way for him, and he is not use to the idea that one does these things. Yes i think it is nice when you get something, but there comes a time in your life when you will really not worry about that anymore.

Then don't mention it and if he doesn't get you anything talk to him about it. Tell him that even though it's not a huge important thing to recieve flowers or chocolate or whatever, it's the thought that counts and it makes you feel special when he does. Just tell him how you feel and he should come around. If he doesn't, just keep telling him what to get you! A husband who gets you what you ask for? Where's the problem! :P

You need to tell him that you WANT Birthday, Valentine Christmas Presents etc!!
tell him without them you don't feel very loved or appreciated & if he wants you to be a happy wife he has to be more loving
So Speak Up & just ask for everything you want
