mederma. I swear it works wonders. A little pricey, but it works better than anything else I have used. I was almost going to recommend other options, but this is my favorite. I even use it on my face for blemishes and it clears them right up.

Some scars fade over time. If yours doesn't and it bothers you, there are treatments that can make a scar less noticeable, such as skin-smoothing medicated creams, waterproof makeup, or even minor surgery. Talk to your parent and doctor to find out if any of these treatments would be right for you.
Sometimes the best medicine might just be to talk. Tell your parent or doctor what's bothering you about your scar and how you feel on the inside. Because when the inside feels good, the outside always seems to look better!

Gotu Kola! Its this herb that's really great for scars, circulation, anti-stress, skin disorders..and a lot of other stuff you can find out about by Googling it..It comes in a pill form and isn't toxic or anyting crazy..I've been using it for a month or two and so has my older sister..so far it's made my skin look a lot better and small scars I've had on my body from scratches and all that are gone..my sister is taking it for her cellulite and varicose veins on her legs and its helped..not 100% but so far we can definetly see improvement. You can buy it at any health store, the one we bought is by the company Now (orange bottle, purple lettering and cap)

There is something called Mederma. It works so well, it reduced a scar I had on my knuckle.
I have met several people who swear by it. You can buy it at most drugstores/stores that sell health and medicine supplies.

Massaging the area is good to break up the underlying tissue as well. So the scar is not as thick and will heal faster.
