where would you recomend to stay?

If you can afford it, stay at the Marival resort. Its right on the water, all inclusive including drinks and meals. It's amazing. Check sites like expedia, orbitz, they usually have pretty good deals to stay there.

I went to Jack Tar Village all inclusive just minutes drive north of there, years ago, took tours up the coast by taxi and water tours, it was so wonderful. If it is no longer available, I think ANYTHING there would do...it is so beautiful, so many places to stay. Call a travel agent.
