No. The way America works is that you have the right to speak a load of crap, and I have the right to ignore you or to speak my mind about your hateful ramblings. Free speech is an implicit right, but it is balanced by the populace and those who would choose to offer the alternative point of view. I do not believe that it should be legislated, as in the fairness doctrine. It is the RIGHT to free speech, not the Obligation to speak, or the right to be shielded from offensive speech.

No hate speech should always be 100% legal. Hate speech is protected by freedom of speech. That's a bunch of PC crap.

No, freedom of speech for all. If it becomes censored then who's to say what is "hate" speech? If I say something different than popular opinion and it could be deemed as "hate". There's just to much leeway for people to abuse it if it became censored.

What's wrong with the current state of the law? It depends on the time, place, and manner. Obviously if a klansman stands outside a black church and shouts racial slurs, he is aiming to start a fight, not express his views.
