The "Planet of Amazons" (women) is mentioned in the provocative research of American author, Robert K.G. Temple, in his amazing book published in 1976 entitled, “THE SIRIUS MYSTERY”, in which he minutely examines the profound 1931 work of the French anthropologist Dr. Marcel Griaule who studied the folklore and oral traditions of the Dogon Tribe of Mali, Africa, heirs to an unexplainable and thorough knowledge of the Sirius Binary Stellar System, supposedly from Ancient Egypt, including that Sirius A's companion, Sirius B, a White Dwarf, orbits Sirius A in an elliptical 50-year cycle. This is utterly profound and mystifying because Sirius B is virtually invisible and cannot be seen with the naked eye, and was not discovered by modern astronomy until 1844! (The question put forth by Temple, "How could the Dogon have known this since antiquity?") In the data retrieved from the Dogon were references to a particular planet that orbits Sirius A known as the "Planet of Women", or the "Planet of Amazons". Temple's research goes on to indicate a primordial "landing" on Earth of beings from Sirius native to one of its other planets, an aquatic planet with a thriving submarine civilization of amphibian intelligent beings, of which the pagan fish god from the Mideast and the Fertile Crescent is known as "Dagon", a representation of the celestial aquatic "deity", of which the "fish head" survives today as the hood-crown of the Pontiff, The Pope, adopted from Dagon paganism.

It sounds like a B-grade science fiction movie from the 1950s.
Look out for the sequels - "Escape from the Planet of the Amazons" and "Return to the Planet of the Amazons".

We're talking about mithology here...
The ancient Greeks said there was an island ( i believe it was an island, not sure, but it was definately NOT a planet) where women ruled, they only used men to "breed", and if they gave birth to a baby boy, they brought him back to his dad. If they gave birth to a girl, they kept her.
For what I remember, they'd go to villages and capture men, have sex with them, and then send them back...something like that...
They were warriors. Supposedly they'd cut one breast so that they could be better with the bow and arrow.

This is what i remember...
