I live in the Northern Kentucky/Southwestern Ohio Valley. I think September is a great month because it gets stagnantly hot here in the summer. Late August/Early September is more or less the start of season changes and it is still pleasantly warm in the day and not too cool at nights.

Be sure to Visit Lake Erie Region! I love it. Tourist season ends after 2nd week of September. The weather gets bad up there early!

May- June and September- October (check out the fall color!)

July and August to me just suck(too hot and too humid)

I have lived here all my life, so I should know.

Places to visit- Cedar Point is a MUST if you like Amusment parks, plus, it is right on Lake Erie, so you can hang out on the beach!
history buff- fort Meigs in Perrysburg, OH. There is also a underground railroad exhibit in Cinncinnati, I think. Check out

I would like to know also, since my mother is moving there and my sister lives in Avon/Sommerset area. Right now they have so much snow my sister spent four hours on a bus trying to get home from work. Her neighbor had to dig underneath the snow to get to her front door.

My guess would be in late spring, summer, or early fall.....I'm from California, (like my sister and mother are,) so I would not do so well traveling there right now with snow.
