Nanno D has most of it right. Check her coat with the maitre d' or the coat check attendant. If they don't exist, help her off with her coat and offer to drape it over the back of her chair. Lots of women like to keep their coats just in case they feel a chill. This is often because our ladies wear silly (but sexy) outfits that show off their shoulders and cleavage. If this is the case, try to keep the coat nearby.
Want to REALLY impress your lady? Try rising from your seat when she gets up from the table to use the powder room or whatever. She will know immediately that you were NOT "brought up in a barn."
Similarly, one must always remember to remove one's hat upon entering a dining room. Every time!!!!

Hang up the coat! When you come into the door, there may be a place to hang it, otherwise, use the back of the chair. If you are taking her to a very expensive restaurant, a mater d' will probably help her into her place at the table, but it you are taken to a table and the waiter makes no attempt to pull out her chair, pull it out for her, she'll slide herself up to the table. Relax! don't sweat the small stuff, and have fun!

If it is a really nice restaurant, there should be someone at the front to check you coats. If not, you should ask her if she wants you to hold her coat while you wait for a table. If she prefers to wear it until you get to your table, help her out of her coat and put it on the back of her chair after you seat her. If the coat is too long to put on the back of the chair, your seater or waiter can help you with that. You should help her with her chair unless the seater does. Also, be sure you help her with her coat after dinner as well-hold it down so she can slip her arms in.

if it is a nice restaurant,they should have a gardarobe,or at least a place to hang coats.
at good restaurants,there should be a waiter
attending,to take the coats from you.
now,the next thing is inportant,women in general
likes to look around and have a view.
so make sure you give her the best overviewing
place to sit.
you can help her with the chair,but thats a bit overdoing it.

I'd say show her who is in charge, and throw that coat on the floor. While you're at it, why not put out your cigarette on it at the same time? As for sliding the chair, just make sure you pull it back towards you as she is sitting down, and when she plops on the floor, laugh loudly and say, "I can't believe you fell for that one!" Then be a perfect gentleman for the rest of the night just to mess with her head.

fold it along with yours and put it over a spare chair at the table. Some restaurants have coat racks

usally they will have a coat check roo.you give them the coats & they give you a claim ticket. don't forget to give them a tip when you pick up the coats
