Leaves as an accessory? I think greenery should be brought into the home whenever possible.

I have seen beautiful wall treatments where you paint your choice color and then stamp a real leaf into the color and lift it out. Very striking appearance.

You can hot glue leaves to a lampshade for a funky jungle like theme.

You can sew plastic leaves to a pillowcase to add to a jungle theme or add a bit of wimsy.

You can make a collage of your favorite fall leaves and cover with cellophane. Makes a lovely place mat.

Leaves can be used for just about anything. I love em! What do you think of leaves?

:)

Love them. Don't even mind cleaning them up in fall (too much).

They are awesome energy factories, air cleaners and light filters. They come in so many interesting shapes, sizes and colors too. If I was forced to choose a favorite part of a plant it would be the leaves. But I find it hard to pick a favorite since any part of a plant is fascinating.

Everyone of them are beautiful. Have you ever really looked at the shape of different trees when driving in the country? Each one of them are different, but they all are so gorgeous. Each has a different shape leaf. The way the branches grow in different ways makes each one special. There was a poem, I don't remeber who wrote it, but it said " I think I shall never see anything as lovely as a tree". I totally agree with this. People need to look closer at the beautiful world we were given, and then thank God for giving it to us.

'Fall, leaves, fall'

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.

I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night's decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

Ground up leaves make great fertilizer and mulch for your garden! You can roll over them with a lawn mower, or use a machine that picks them up and grinds them. Leaves? Love em! :) Arum

They're great as long as I don't have to rake them up.
