Is a popular folktale in the Phillipines in a sort of comic-book like format and around 2,000 stanzas long in Tagalong.
It is the adventures of 3 brothers sent by their ailing father, the King, to catch the bird who alledgely whos "droppings" can cure any illness.

no, the droppings cannot cure illness. There's a time when the bird will sing and you will fall asleep. Then the bird will sh*t on you. If you got hit with the droppings-THE DROPPINGS WILL TURN YOU INTO STONE. The brothers needed to bring the bird into the kingdom and sing to cure the king. But not sh*t on the king to turn him into stone note that. I'm a filipino and we studied that in high school.
