Ectopic pregnancy can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms often mirror those of a normal early pregnancy. These can include missed periods, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, or frequent urination.
Pain is usually the first red flag. You might feel pain in your pelvis, abdomen, or, in extreme cases, even your shoulder or neck (if blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy builds up and irritates certain nerves). Most women describe the pain as sharp and stabbing. It may concentrate on one side of the pelvis, and it may come and go or vary in intensity.
Any of the following additional symptoms can suggest an ectopic pregnancy:
vaginal spotting or bleeding
dizziness or fainting (caused by blood loss)
low blood pressure (also caused by blood loss)
lower back pain

Once you get the symptoms they only get worse and do not go away til you have surgical treatment. An ectopic is where the embryo implants into the fallopian tube instead of the uterus. Sorry to say but the only way to fix an ectopic is to take out the affected fallopian tube and therefore end the pregnancy. If no treatment is received then the ectopic can rupture which can and will be fatal depending upon how long u leave it to receive treatment. The pain is excruciating and most people no that something is seriously wrong.

The symptoms go away after the ectopic pregnancy is gone. If you had a misscarriage in July, unless you are actualy having an ectopic pregnancy right now, you wont have any symptoms. If you are possibly pregnant and having an ectopic pregnancy you dont have time to wait for your appointment you need to go to the ER right away. There are a lot of reasons your shoulder could hurt. Remember that not all ectopic pregnancys show up on a home test, I would go and get it checked out right away.

You would have to have a positive pregnancy test for an ectopic pregnancy. Other common symptoms include bleeding and severe pain. The fact that you said it's a "dull ache" made me think it sounds more like a cyst on your ovary to me. Especially if you notice that it will hurt more at certain times, like when you sit a certain way or go to the bathroom.

By eight weeks they can normally tell. Some cramping is normal. It's almost like period cramps. However, it never hurts to call your doctors office. They will tell you what you need to know or if you need an earlier appointment scheduled. Tell them you are concerned about it being ectopic. Tell them your concerns. Since your miscarriage was last July it should be okay. It never hurts to call them. Good luck.

They would most likely continue to get worse. Symptoms include: brown spotting, severe abdominal pain (usually on one side), shoulder pain, nasea and vomiting (may not be able to tell the difference between this and morning sickness), dizziness or weakness, rectal pressure. You may have some or all of these symptoms.

The symptoms can start anywhere from the fourth week to as far as the tenth week, but when the symptoms begin they will get progressively worse. They dont come on, then subside. If your abdominal pain get progressively worse, reguardless of weither you have other symptoms, contact your doctor right away.. I hope this is helpful!

im not 100% positive! but i would think the pain would get worse as it progresses! b/c in a ectopic pregnancy it stays in the tubes..and as the egg grows and wutnot the tube will grow causing more pain!..im sure your fine! but its ok to worry! but maybe you should move your doctors appointment up! see if they can fit you in this week! tell them that you are having pain and want to be seen!! and im sure they will fit you in right away!
