no not at all.
Jealous is one who doesn't has the skills and don't deserve positive results but still complain of not getting that and nver tries with full spirit to achieve things.
instead one who compete not only desires but also try to get the results in his/her fovor by struggling and acquiring more knowledge and skills.

so one should never be jaelous of others but should get inspiration from other to prosper in life

There is a fine difference between jealousy and envy.... jealousy leads to negative actions, intention to pull down the object of jealousy... envy on the other hand is the word used to indicate positive aspect, when the intention is to equal or excel the object of envy.

Jealousy therefore creates only hatred and destruction, whereas envy has the tendency to heighten competition and thereby bringing up improvement and victory. Yes, envy can help a person strive harder towards excellence and that can lead to winning as well.
