Yes... I was on it twice one year each time and although everyone is different they do say that for every year it takes 6-12 months for it to get out of your system....

I was on the depo shot for 3 years (almost 4) and once i stopped taking the shot my period returned that next month and i was pregnant 11 months later.
Depo-Provera is not a good choice if you want to be pregnant in the next year or two. Why? Because it typically takes 9 to 10 months to become pregnant after you stop taking Depo-Provera as a contraceptive. It could even take up to 24 months after discontinuing use of Depo-Provera for you to become pregnant. The length of time you use Depo-Provera has no effect on how long it takes you to become pregnant.

It could be possible. I was on the shot for about 8 years, and it only took me 1 year and 3 months to get pregnant. I would say that your hormones are more than likely back to normal if your periods are somewhat regular. I had no periods when I was on the shot, and it took about 6 or 7 months for them to get normal again. Good Luck

It can take up to 18 months for your period to get back to normal. Some people are sooner than that. Someone I know got pregnanct with both her kids right after stopping the depo shot. When I stopped using it my doctor put me on birth control pills right away because she said there is no way to know if you will take 1 month to regulate or 18.

i was on the shot for little over 3 years when i decided to have my second child. it took us 6 months to conceive. some people take a little longer. what depo does it stops ur body from making eggs, so sometimes it takes a little longer to start working again

It could take anywhere for 3 months to 1 year to get it completely out of your system. I hope this was helpful... and remember you ovulate 7 days after your period ends!!! That is key time to try having a baby... if that is what you are wanting =)

Depo is so unpredictable that there have been rare cases where women have gotten pregnant while on depo and some cases where women have become infertile. Best bet--use protection unless you want to get pregnant.

At least 12 months, I was only on it for 3 months, I gained 30lbs and it took almost a year for my homones and cycle to get back to normal.

Every person's body is different. Nobody can truly answer that question. I have seen women get pregnant right away and others took two years or more.
