What do you think, why do some people want to die? Is death necessary in our life? Why or why not? How can death change our life?
These are not homework question. These are discussion questions. I just want to know your opinions. I also want to know are these questions are appropiate to answer or should I change them. Yes, I made these questions from the book "THE GIVER". I don't know How did I do this? Just help me out by sharing your opinions. I just have to know that can we anser those question or cannot. Why? Because I don't have to answer them. My friends have to answer them. So don't worry about copying.

many suicidal people want to die because they feel like there i no hope for them to ever live a decent, secure, enriched life. depression can over whelm people to a point of madness. other suicidal people are surpisingly wealthy. the reason behind this stems from there is nothing else left to want. the furel to life is wanting things. some people live for feeding a family, other's for the material possesions. want gives people something to look forward to. with out desires life is bland. death is final. there is no comming back from death and people find comfort in the belief of no more pain. apart from people who are bound to the religious beliefs of the day of judgement. this can steer people away from death and make them want to live forever.
death is necessary in life. if there was no death then the world would be horridly over crowded. in my religion of islam we have to make a pilgrimage to mecca. one point to this is to show people that when we are all praying and it is crowded we get a taste of the day of judgement. everyone will be pleading for their own souls. hense do right in your life. plus it is very crowded. this is the main complaint in mecca. weather you believe in god or even nature we belong to some sort of entity so there for having ever lasting life on this planet would becom over crowded and estrangly uninhabital. i am sure you can figure the reasons. not enough food. polution destroying the earth which we see now, etc.... death is not always a curse, punishment, or something to frown upon. death can be a relief. hope this answers your question. opinions are like bodies everybody's got one.

the way death changes our life is obvious we die
when our relatives die it makes us sad and we have to cope with it because death is necessary or you would live forever with no fear of dying, no motivation to get things done in a hundred years, no bravery or courage in the face of death and no sacrifice. Plus you couldnt make more people or the earth would get covered in them.
Some people want to die because they believe that they can no longer get anything out of life, they think that they cant accomplish anything anymore
