Its extremely important. If you want people to make educated decisions about their sexual health, then educate them.
IF you do not educate them, they will still look for the information. The places they have left to look, well that leaves the internet or their friends. Unfortunatley a student's friends may not always give the best advice or accurate information.

Even though we have sexual education here, it is not always of great quality. There are so many students entering college and having very little sexual information even though they had sexual courses in high school and middle school.

Sex ed teachers should not be scared to give accurate information, and be prepared to answer all the questions a curious person may have..without shaming them. They should also create an environment where the student feels comfortable to talk and listen. It is not enough for the instructor to just lecture, there should be open discussions as well.

I would also add, that being sexually educated has never changed my beliefs. Everyone has their own beliefs and cultural influences. Just because you are taught about something, doesn't mean you have to go out and do it.
What your parents teach you at home is important as well. Hopefully the parents of these students are teaching them good values, so they don't have to worry about the student doing something wrong. However, not every person has good parenting (many people parent differently) . Just because one person has a good life, doesn't mean everyone does- everyone's experience at home is different. It is at least good to know that you would be able to count on the school to educate the student now so that they can make wise decisions regarding their body, and not only that, but also to be able to understand their body as well.

its a good idea to enforce the true facts in school rather than from the streets. It's better to educate them early in school so they are aware of things such as aids, sexual diseases, safe protection, and they need a place where they can bring up their issues without feeling pressured and get the answers they need because how likely is it that they will get any of this information from the parents?? Not very much so. and sometimes what the kids know is not always the right answer. I mean at the end it is upto the kids what they decide to do but if they know it might make them think twice.

I think some kind of instruction is being given to the girls by the mothers, in the traditional families. In the schools, the teachers no longer maintain a closeness. The teacher should gain the confidence of the students for the latter to be convinced about the instructions about sex. The direction of the instruction should ethical. The aim of sex education should be to impart knowledge and to avoid the evil effects of ignorance about sex.

According to new lifestyles, yes sexual education is important. You pointed out the Indian culture. The level of sexual education and the way it is conveyed must fit with the culture. The way teenagers are given sexual education in the US may not be directly relevant to Indian culture. Western way is not always right everywhere in the world. Everything has to be modified according to the specific country and it's culture. In other words, we shouldn't just copy the western ways and apply them directly to eastern world. That may have a negative impact.

*Only parents* should give sex education to their children|

That is because it is only they who know if their children are ready, and then they do it in a descrete manner|

But sex education in public schools is a different thing altogether|

That is nothing but Marxist indoctrination, teaching the kids that they are nothing but animals who cannot control their impulses|

They present human sexuality graphically, as simply a mechanical operation to satisfy a mere biological need, ********* it of all the mystery that is inherent in it, which was created by God to bond husband and wife in ineffible love and to create new life|

They present the students with the option of the *pill* or the *condom,* if they are going to become sexually active, which it is taken for granted that they will.

After 2 or 3 uses, the condom is bound to fail, as the students are lured into a false sense of security about them, as they are encouraged to be sexually active by their existence, as they are falsely presented as sound protection| The result is *always* disease, unwanted pregnancy, or both|

Or if the girl is encouraged to go on the pill, it gives her the licence to sleep with whoever she wants, again having been given a false sense of security| What happens is that she contracts some disease and become pregnant sooner or later, because so many factors (such as medications she is on, or imbalances in the body) cause the pill to fail. This always happens, sooner or later, to any woman on the pill.

Also, the pill is a deadly toxin to the body, as it shuts down and mutliates the woman's reproductive functions|

This leads to all sorts of serious health problems such as blood clots|

We don't know how many girls or women's lives have been ruined because of the pill.

And of course when the contraceptives that are offered fail (which they will inevitably willl), abortion is the backup|

To facilitate a "right" to abortion, public schools now have as policy, a system where they send the girls to abortion clinics or hospitals without the parent's knowlege (but for every other medical proceedure, they need the parent's permission)|

This inevitably causes horrible damage to the girl, as if it were as if a part of her being were cut from her|

She becomes scarred *physically,* *emotionally,* and *spiritually|* - often for life|

Often, woman who have had this done, suffer a life-time of remorse and guilt|

But of course, the proceedure is presented as completely safe and a woman's right|

That is sex education in the public schools in a nut-shell.

Why, in the first place, people are talking about sex education these days? Since many sex-related diseases and misconceptions about sex are spreading among people, they thought people should be educated about sex. They thought if people are educated about sex, there will not be any misconceptions or sexually transmitted diseases.
If we watch plants, birds and animals, they never take lessons in sex education. Then why should we, the human beings, take lessons about sex? Sex is a natural phenomenon. It naturally occurs at the right age. Sex is a part of the natural growth cycle of human life.
We do not need sex education. What we need now is, moral education. We should teach our younger generation how to live a moral life. We have to teach them life values such as how to mantain good physical health, how to think positively, how to develop positive attitude, how to develop self-confidence and self-reliance, how to work hard and how higher values take them to higher levels in their lives.

I think that its a good thing to educate the kids about sex. Maybe then there would not be so much teenage pregnancy, std's and aids. It is up to each of us to try to make our young people the best that they can be.

It's better to have educated teenagers having sex than uneducated teenagers having sex.

If they know the basic prevention methods and the risks involved, they're more likely to make better decisions than if the school teaches, "Don't have sex until you're older."
