nothing, my hubby got me one when we married, I think it was gold? but a year later when his parents came from Thailand for a visit, he told me to give my ring to his mother as a gift of love.. so I did as he ask, and he never got me another.
I hate him now and don't want another.... that was 22 yrs ago... I ask for Indian gold for Christmas this year... guess what I got?

Mine is gold although it has been broken for 13 years (out of the fifteen I have been married) I wear a cheap little ring made of sterling silver that I got at a flea market in place of the other.
