Ok, so the deal is, I registered for this offer from Paypal that they are offering in which they will put $15 into my Paypal account if I make a $30 purchase. I made a $30 purchase from Barnes and Noble. However, I pre-ordered the new Harry Potter book scheduled to come out in the summer. It says that purchases have to be made before March 31, but I probably won't be charged for the Harry Potter book until it comes out in July. Can someone persuade me that I will be eligible for the offer somehow? I have links to the exact terms and conditions of the $15 rebate offer. Sounds like you won't be eligible. Promising to buy something is not the same as buying something. It's not a purchase until it ships. (after all, you could cancel it after getting the credit.)
They're not allowed to charge you for an item until they ship it.
