I"m thinking of a movie from the 80's that starred (I THINK) Michael J Fox and Joan Jett...He played a businessman and she played a musician. I thought the book/movie was "Bright LIghts Big City" by Jay Mc-something, but I am incorrect. Joan Jett was never in this film and it is driving me nuts what the name of the film was......can anyone help me with a title???

There is a musical called Bright Lights Big City about a magazine editor. Its based off a novel with the same titel

He was in both films, but the Joan Jett is "Light of Day" ( a terrible film, BTW)
