Can you describe how your first baby movement felt in your stomach?

I've read online and asked people but I haven't had much success on determining if I'm feeling movement yet

how long does the feeling last typically?

It litterally feels like a butterfly gently flapping its wings, it isn't a huge sensation, its very subtle, but once it starts it builds big time until the little sucker kicks you in the lung.

It is a wonderful feeling, that first communication from inside. It is difficult to put into words.

I felt like a rumbling in my stomach that I figured was just gas or hunger or something. I started feeling it at the same time every evening though, so I started thinking it was baby. Although, until 22 weeks I wasn't sure. At 22 weeks I felt what I like to call a bloop. It was like a bubble inside my tummy popping near the surface... lol I don't know if that makes sense.

**The rumbling probably lasted for a few minutes... I dont remember it being a steady feeling, more like little intervals. My first "bloops" lasted for a minute or so, it was a couple of the bubbles popping and that was it. Now I feel her blooping for like 10 minutes, when Im either laying on my left side or sitting still.**

I have had two kids and with both it was different feeling and in different spots! My first born 3 year old daughter was right below the belly button. It was not a gentle butterfly flap. It felt like somebody flicked me from the inside. I was 3 months along at my doctors office even the doctor was astonished cause 3 months is pretty early but the doc felt it. So i was bewildered! With my second i was 3 months 1 week! This time i felt pressure on my belly button then i felt what i would say were sorta painful gas bubbles. But i didnt have any gas and if i poked my belly they poked back LMAO!

It is a funny feeling tho thats for sure!

Well, when i was 14 weeks i think I felt the baby, but it wasnt fluttering or gassy. It felt like a tightening sensation, with some pressure. I asked my gf about it and she said that it felt the same for her. I also noticed that when I was bent over and there was pressure on my abdomen, I would feel little popcorn kinda movements. I dont think it was gas. I am 16 weeks now, and it is starting to feel like flutters now. Even if you arent sure its the baby, who cares, its your feeling, I would say your feeling it :)

usually movement is not felt til 16 weeks or a lil later. My first movements I thought was gas then after awhile it began to feel like popcorn popping or butterflies fluttering around in my stomach. It kind of tickled a lil. Just relax soon u will feel them and then somedays further along u wish that u didnt

The first itme I actually recognized movement as bieng the baby... I actually saw it. I was lying in the bathtub and saw her little foot kick me three times.... it kind of creeped me out.... like there was an alien inside me.
From that moment on I could feel her all the time... sometimes kicks which feel like kicks, and sometimes movement which kind of feels like gas!!

For me it wasn't much like gas. It felt almost like a butterfly but not even quite like that. I can say is the feeling is amazing.

The first time I felt mine move it felt like little bubbles in my belly. after a while it felt like a little tickle. It depends on the person.

it felt like rumbling gas. later it feels like a nubb rolling around. like a smooth, slow and meditated movement across my belly. I didnt feel much untill around 30 weeks.
