i am sooo anti abortion, it's the same as murder, i mean if u dont want a child KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED!! and if u were raped , adoption, u can have the child and give it up for adoption. whats the difference between a stupid person who has an abortion and a murderer? none, they both murder a human. the minute that the sperm meets the egg, u have made a human and theres nothiing u can do. ppl who have abortions disgust me, ever heard of contraception or, better yet keeping your legs closed? give me thumbs down but atleast i have said the right thing, U KNOW what im sayin is true!

I am so PRO ABORTION! Abortions are here for many good reasons. Babies who die in the womb, women with medical conditions that may die if the baby is not removed, rape victims, etc etc...

What if you got date raped like I did? I was date raped by a friend whom I trusted and he took advantage of the fact that I blacked out when I got home. I ended up pregnant and would NEVER have had his child sober or not. I NEVER EVEN HAD THE MINDSET TO HAVE SEX WITH HIM! BUT BECAUSE HE WAS PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED TO ME, HE FELT THE NEED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME WHEN I WAS IN A VULNERABLE STATE.

I am in the process of having the abortion by the end of this week and I have no regrets whatsoever. I would never bring a child into this world until I was ready, it was conceived out of love and the man I am with wants to have the baby also...

If you have a strong will like me, you will not let it bother you. It's a part of life... You made the choice to have the abortion so therefore you should not feel guilty. People must understand that aboritons shoud be strictly left to the mother whether they want her to have the baby or not. We are the ones that have to carry the child and take care of them for the rest of our lives as well as deal with the father, whether we are with them or not. I dont feel its a matter of being able to be responsible when having sex, because according to my 'friend' condoms were used. But no method is 100%. Even women on BC get pregnant... It may be a small 2-3% but it happens. Can we call them irresponsible? No we can not!

God knows our hearts and knows why we make certain decisions, that's why he gave us the will to decipher between choices. Having an aboritom does not make you a bad person at all so please dont think that...

I will pray for you and hope that you can get over your abortion and move on. On the other side of your question, think of all the children that are brought into this world in horrible living conditons and less than acceptable surroundings. Every human should be able to have the basic necessities in life. Now, if the mother's of these children would have aborted them, I am sure that they wouldn't have suffered anymore then they are now...

I was always in favor of choice. My partners & I always used some form of birth control. If we had ever got pregnant though I would have done whatever they wanted as far as the child was concerned. Abortion when it was against the law was still performed & was not always safe. My wife of 20 years got pregnant on the pill once. I was in a state of shock at first but I adjusted & accepted the fact I was going to be a daddy. Well, my wife started to hemmorage & was going to bleed to death if she had not had an abortion. So we had an abortion & her life was saved. I'm thankful every day for that. It's a touchy subject I know for lots of people but what would they have done if they were us? I'm still pro choice & I believe God is an all forgiving God. Don't be too hard on yourself. Learn from your past & move on. We are all here for a reason. We all make mistakes sometimes.

Is anyone really PRO abortion? If so, that is really sad!

I do think it should be legal, but I would never say that I am pro abortion. And I do completely agree with you, that people should take responsibility for their actions. But even some married couples never want to have children. And even if they take every precaution (other than the unrealistic choice of giving up sex altogether), accidents can happen. Luckily with things like the morning after pill, they may not ever need to consider abortion. But it should still be available. In addition, there is the usual argument--rape, incest, etc.

Ok - and I had an abortion when I was not so young and I don't regret the choice. I could not give that child what was needed, and i would not have been able to give my other children what they have now and the opportunities in life. In fact, one would not even exist if the other still did.

You can be upset with me because I refuse to live in horror over something that was for the best of everyone involved - it won't change anything now to dwell in the past, will it?

So to answer the question, I am pro choice.

Pamela deludes herself if she thinks LESS abortions were happening just because they were illegal. Tell me, would your rather your daughters - if they MUST have an abortion - go to a fully licensed doctor with a sterile setting and be as painless as possible, or would yo9u rather she go to someone with no real medical skill who leaves half the fetus in her, potentially punctures her womb, uses dirty instruments, and leaves her in pain, infected, sterile and maybe even dead as she hemmorrages?

I wish that abortion were never made legal! Yes there were some illegal abortions going on back then but not like there are now. People have turned abortion into a form of birth control. It's gotten way out of hand.Women need to just not get pregnant in the first place. I agree waiting & wanting your and loving your Children! Use other forms of birth control! Abortion was never intended to be used as birth control!

I never accept things in terms of black and white.

I believe that utilizing abortion as a form of birth control is wrong.

I would NEVER however insist that rape victims or women with a possible fatal outcome continue with the pregnancy.

I believe in the sanctity of life.

I also know I, nor anyone else know not when "sentience" merges with the body, so we can't conclusively claim when the fetus is fully human.

I'm definately against partial birth and late term abortions, unless BOTH the lives of the mother and fetus are at risk. If only the mother's life is at risk then I would say that the child has more of a right to life than does the mother.

Strongly pro-choice. It's not the Stone Age. We, as women, should be able to regulate our reproduction. If you are not ready to be a mother, you should not feel compelled to bring a child into this mess of a world. Stop feeling guilty. You made a choice in the circumstances and you should be kinder to yourself and realize that it was the right choice at that moment.

well, me being a boy, its not really my choice now is it? The only time I think it should be allowed is if the mother is to young and cant tack care of both herself and the baby, or the parents cant tack care of it. The parents, manly the mother, should chose
