What is the best dark nail polish that does not make your nails yellow?

Of you wear nail polish a lot, the harsh dyes in them will cause your nails to yellow. If they do turn yellow, soaking them in lemon juice for 5 minutes should make them white again. When applying nailpolish, make sure you add a clear base coat on your nails first before applying any color over it. THe clear polish doesn't have any dyes and will prevent the dyes from the colored polish from reaching your nails. 2 good nail polishes I recommeans are opi and essie, found in ulta and trade secret stores, and even drugstores. Try not to wear polish 24/7 and give your nails a chance to breathe. Or you can coat them in a vitamin rich sheen polish.

OPI is a good one. The best thing to do though is put on a clear base coat, let dry, apply another coat, let dry then add polish, if you go dark 1 coat will do.When that's dry add a clear topcoat. I usually will apply a quick dry clear liquid on top of that. It will last for 7-10 days and not stain your nails.It takes a while to do but is worth the effort.Put in a good movie or CD and relax and enjoy pampering yourself. Have fun!

put on a very strong clear nail polish first!! put on like 2 coats and then apply your dark color and it wont make them yellow at all!
