Read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler.
It's a great book. I took lots of college biology classes, but I never felt like I really fully understood the whole menstrual cycle until I read this book. It tells you exactly how your temperature changes at different times in the ovulation cycle, and describes how cervical fluid changes throughout the cycle.
(To give you an idea of how well respected this book is, it's currently in a 10th anniversary edigion, and it's been reviewed 890 times on Amazon with an average of 5 stars.)
Good luck in either getting pregnant or staying non-pregnant, whichever you are looking for. (This book is good for both these things.)

Me personally I am really horny when I am ovulating which is good because thats the perfect time to have sex when ttc. You can go to www.babycenter.com to get an ovulation calculation. Its a really helpful site! Good luck!

ovulation predictor or just count 12-17 days from the start of your perioud. thoes are your most fertal days
