Hi, these two laptops I've been looking at and I can't really decide between the two. They are almost the same price, but I don't really understand all the differeneces in the specs to be able to tell which is the better deal. Like, is the difference between the two integrated graphics cards worth the 1 gb difference of ram? Im planning on using this laptop mostly for school with a bit of gaming as well. Nothing crazy though, probably starcraft and warcraft with a bit of WoW on lower settings (I don't really care about how it looks, as long as it doesnt lag much.)

That is easy, Get the Acer due to it has double RAM, 2048 Gb and bigger HDD 160 GB. Also, it is core 2 Duo verses Dual Core. Core 2 dual is just ahead of the dual core. The next level of computing.

You will find that lightscribe disks are expensive and may take up to 30 minutes to lightscribe a disk and then only in one color.

I can not see how they are nearly the same price but I would go Acer. Also IF you get it, call the Acer manufacturer up and ask them how much insurance is. The store insurance is usually too high and does not cover that much.

Click this two sites and search the info on how to buy a computer and what all the bs means. Computer 1 will definitely handle Warcraft.

Send me the model numbers of the two and I would like to check them out. Is this US or what? If you tell me what amount of money you will spend I can send you some quick clicks to check out.

If you can wait, the prices of CPU chips are going to drop drastically in a few months due to the new dual core chip AMD is introducing. Intel has already announced it will begin to reduce prices to as much as $100 for each chip.

well if you plan on doing any gaming then you have to get the HP with the Nvidia graphics card cause the Intel graphics card sucks and it wont play hardly any games cause it isnt strong enough.

i know cause my friend has a comp with Intel graphics card and he cant play alot of games that my Nvidia graphics card will and we both have laptops and they both have the same specs only difference is mine is Nvidia and his is Intel
