"basicly" my whole answer :)

Step 1 - go to www.yahoo.com
Step 2 - find the "finance" section
Step 3 - in the search field type "tiffany"
Step 4- research the company

In this case what you are looking for is in the SEC filings so in the Tiffany and Co Yahoo finance site go to SEC filings and read the 10k. The 10K is the annual report filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission and will tell you about what securities of the company are available for sale to the public (i.e. classes of stock issued).

It should be in their 10-k financial report.

Go to tiffany's website and go to the investor section. All the public filings will be there.
