I know its just Texas but theres A LOT of racist people in Texas I wonder why...

I agree with you and I'm a native Texan. There are plenty of racist @ssholes in my state, but it's basically because of the size and history of our state. In the smaller towns of East Texas where I'm from our culture is more Southern USA then it is Western USA. In West Texas they do things completely different, Austin rocks, Dallas is overrated, Houston's okay, and East Texas is where the South begins.... In the major metros of Texas people are more tolerant compared to the smaller towns and although the racist people aren't as visible in the big cities of Texas, they're still there. Anyway I think Texans are just more vocal and up in your face about their feelings and attitudes (this is what I like and hate about Texans). People in other states are just as racist but they are good at smiling in your face....... But I agree with you and one day I'm going to make my way out of this shithole they call Texas.

The reason is because we are a big state and have a lot of people living here. Other states have the same problem, not just Texas. I live in the greater Houston area of Texas, and we are really nice to one another. There are many different races and religions here, and we get along with one another just as much as any other place.

I'm from Texas and I'm not...did you have a bad experience or something? You seem to have a lot of anger..unless you've never been to Texas and just making some irrational accusations.

There are no more racists per capita than any other state.. they just like to Share their beliefs more vocally than other states.. :)
