What do you guys think of this rumor? Jason Kidd and possibly Jason Collins to the Lakers for a number of these possibilities: Chris Mihm, Aaron McKie, Jordan Farmar, Kwame Brown, 2 first-round draft picks.

In my opinion, Jason Kidd will fit in well with the triangle. He's a pass first, shoot second type of guy and despite what other people think, he will most likely get along with Lamar and Kobe. If the Lakers do take part in this trade, I would not want to see Farmar or Brown go. Chris Mihm, although I think he's a good center, is a injury-prone liability, and Aaron McKie is getting old.

Any thoughts?

This probably won't go through because it will not be favorable to the nets. They're gonna be giving up an impact player but Bynum and Odom are off limits? No way

this rumor is exciting, yet also sad if it goes down. i too think that j-kidd will fit perfectly in with the lakers. he could be just what they need to make a drive deep into the playoffs. then again im not too keen on thinking of who among the team they will give up for him. i dont want to see jordan go because he could be the lakers' future star point guard. everyone is always saying how andrew bynum is going to be this big star but i dont have much faith in him and i actually prefer kwame as the starting center. aaron mckie is old and has had next to no playing time this season so he can go. chris mihm is a great center, but we already have a lot and i agree his injury is a liability like you said. sasha vujicic is a good defender, but he doesnt look like he fits into the triangle very well and is very inconsistent on offense.

the lakers are a very young team and having the veteran j-kidd come in could possibly spark something really positive for everyone.

The Nets might want to be stupid to commerce Kidd for the gamers human beings are putting forward they could. i imagine they could get many more desirable sensible commerce supplies for Kidd. The Nets must have tried to attempt this commerce in the previous, no longer below 2 days in the previous the commerce cut-off date. i imagine the Nets can make a stupid determination and commerce Jason Kidd to the Lakers. How will Jason Kidd experience next 365 days even as he's sitting on the bench in the all-superstar watching Steve Nash commence?

no doubt jkidd would help the lakers but he is old and a lot will have to be given to get him. i dont think jersey wants anyone you just mentioned. they have marcus williams to take over so they dont need farmar. kwame mihm and mckie all suck. if i were new jerseys GM i would want odom or bynum at least. and the lakers would have to throw in expiring contracts and draft picks. its not everyday you trade a triple double threat superstar.

The Nets can get more than that bag of trash for Kidd. The Cavs could give them more than that.
