My vote for the absolute best program to use, is something like Adobe/Macromedia Homesite+ (it is included with studio 8). If you can write the code yourself without trying to take shortcuts with dreamweaver or something, it will come out a whole lot nicer.. Of course you could use dreamweaver too, just so long as you manually edit the code directly using the code view window. If you rely on only the design view, you will run into problems..

I would advise against Frontpage.. Adobe/Macromedia is the leader in web design applications. Microsoft is no longer even competing with Adobe, and have discontinued Frontpage.

I have used Microsoft FrontPage (come with Office).
It is felxible and powerful. Try FrontPage 2003 to design HTML Pages and also create menus and flash buttons. And also it includes an FTP tool to upload your files directly from it.

Also you can use DreamWeaver (from Macromedia). It is having a various type of designed templates.

I use Netscape composer, which is free and does all the HTML coding by itself.
