IMO, I think Skiles is relying too much on his rookies. Honestly, maybe half of the Bulls losses were caused by sloppy play made by them (Sefelosha, Thomas).Losing to the Raptors just shows this (we beat the Suns, but were without Nash,Diau).Without the Suns game (and Andres), the Bulls are on a 4-game losing streak.
Everytime I see a rookie on the court, I'd get this sick feeling.

The rookies have virtually no offensive presence. Sure, Thomas can dunk, but he can barely ever make a simple layup. Thabo...well..he has no offensive capability. Half the time he gets the ball, he either travels or carries.
On the defensive end, Thabo's good with his length, but what's the point if he's playing guard? Jump shots are rarely ever blocked. Tyrus has a HUGE defensive problem.
A.He's way undersized
C.He's called for g. tending at least twice a game
D.He makes DUMB FOULS
This is only my opinion, and I'd like to here what others have to say.
If I were Skiles, I'd stick with Grif, and other vets

Yeah but you have to give the rookies some playing time in order for them to develop. They're young you have to understand. But i see a whole lot of potential in Sefolosha. He's has a lot of hustle and is good on the defensive end. Tyrus can contribute with his athleticism. If the bulls are really going to be one of the really good teams they have to find a post scorer and stop worrying about rookies. You might not be regretting giving them playing time in a few years

Raptors are a good team. They have an ALL ROOKIE starting lineup (And they still own). The bulls wouldn't beat the raptors if their lives depended on it. don't diss my team.

Rookies need to be disciplined. The bulls' coach never takes his players out if they make dumb fouls, which is what rookies tend to do. The longer you play in the NBA, the less (dumb) fouls you make.

I think Skiles is working at a solid pace. He wants to look into the future so he needs to play his young players, but he also wants to win. I don't think he's playing thabo and thomas too much. both of them definitely shows potential.

I don't think Bulls is ready to win yet contrary to what a lot of ppl thought in the beginning of the season. I think Skiles realizes that too.

i think he has no choice but to play the rooks. i dont watch a lot of bulls games but i do know that they have little offensive power unless gordon is hot. ben gordon is really inconsistent, 30 one night, 8 the next. hinrich isnt exactly a big scorer either. god knows the bulls wont get any points up front and noci is hurt. and everyone knew ty thomas was a VERY RAW prospect with freakish athletic ability. sefalosha looks kind of slow, he did great in the summer league but that was with amateurs anyway. deng is pretty good and is pretty consistent.

No. Thomas and Thabo don't play that much.
