I know you have to find other peoples codes and i did that and there wii came up but they never are online and i have over 40 of them i know somthing is wrong can some one please explain the steps on how to get friends on the Wii Nintendo? Please! Thank you

Well, if you mean on the Mii channel, you'll need to set your Mii to Mingle. Go to Edit and under the 1st/2nd (Don't remember anymore :P), and check Mingle. You'll be able to see each other's Mii's.
If you you want to send messages, just choose one of the codes that you have at the Messages section @ the Main Menu, @ the tab after the Calendar, and send a message. Also, make sure you gave your code to each and every one of the other friends you have, or else they won't be able to recieve any messages. BTW, this also applies to the Mii Channel.

In order for that to work, they need your wii number also. Give them your wii number and you should be fine.
