Pet mice are typically surplus animals from laboratory mouse breeders. There are well over 2 dozen coat color variations possible for these animals, from the "white mouse" everyone knows about, to white mice with dark eyes, to browns, grays, black (actually the most common), golden, tan, and cream. There are some brown (agouti) mice with white bellies. similar to the common deer and white footed mice (although the facial feautures and tails are quite difeerent). Gray mice can look similar to immature deer mice. Worldwide, there are hundreds of speciaes of mice, including golden harvest mice, house mice, jumping mice, etc. Many of these have coat colors that may be similar to ones found in today's world of transgenic mice.

Would be very unusual. There are albinos. But even they don't look like the standard white mouse from the pet stores, pink eyes and all. Wild mice retain the grayish color because the species has survived with that color. Albinos don't usually live very long.

yes, it is possible for a mutation to cause albinism which would result in an all white mouse with pink eyes. however the little thing would be at a great disadvantage, as it would be easily spotted by predators. this is why most wild mice are the same brownish color, cause the camophlaged ones live long enough to breed!
