Im asking this because both have biology and chem and are pretty much the same. Which of the major is better to be prepared for the MCAT and med school? Biochem or molecular bio?

I have taken both of these courses, took Biochem first, which provided a good background for Molecular. Personally, I don't think one is harder than the other, they are both similar in terms of difficulty.

Not sure which would be a better prep course for the MCAT and med school, potentially biochem....there are MCAT study guides/books available, try local library, you can browse through and see what types of questions are in there...I have a copy of the MCAT testing book, you are given passages to read, and then must answer questions on those passages, a lot of the questions are basic general science questions that you would probably be able to answer once you have a taken some chem, bio, physics, and math. They get more detailed as you go throgh the book, but if you study from a book like that you should do fine...

Good luck.
