In India we pay all sort of taxes and every year some new tax comes out. Our tax money is used to pay the politicians, police, municipal staff, president and all other govt. institutions etc. Our money is used when our politicians fight like dogs in the lok sabha, our money is used to give admission to the reserved category, our money is used implementing new schemes.
Do you think that we tax paying Indians get enough out of it? Dyou feel you are paying it just to be out of any legal hassles? If given a choice would you yet pay it? Don't you think like every company presents it balance sheets the government should also do so with proof of every expense made?

You asked a genuine question, and behind you there are 100 crores people sufferring but not expressed.
Except High ways Road, not a single road in any part of India is smooth, and the waste of money on Tyres, Tubes, shock absorbers, Mileage, Maintainence all are additional apart from Paying Taxes. Is it fair for one's consious that are serving in Government.

Actually, in America we do the same. Taxes UP, Taxes Down, then UP...and it depends on who is in office; Democrats or Republicans. But all our money goes to support government and government programs for the nations who need help; but the government also pays each department and it's employees. This is where their paycheck comes from.
At the end of the year, we do our income tax returns and get some portion of that back. It's like we loan our money to the government till tax time. Of course people with big money get less back than the middle class and poor, but they still save some.
Does knowing that Americans must also pay taxes help any?

This question requires a very long answer. but I can say that the burden on the Governmant can be reduced if The people only women living below poverty line can be given MICRO- CREDIT TO START MICRO-ENTERPRISES then they will start adding to the income Growth and reduce the burden on the Government.
