Not at all. Here we get to experience all 4 seasons in all their glory. :-D Intense summers, Intense winters, and the beauty of Spring and Fall.

My family lived in CA for a while and it just isn't the same.

Don't get me wrong... I love it when its 75 and sunny in the day and 55 at night so I can sleep with the windows open. And when its -15 degrees do I wish it was 75 and sunny?? YEP!

But I also love that in summer when its 100 degrees, I know that in a few months, it'll be -15 again.

The joy of all the seasons is something that those of us here on the east coast get to enjoy!

Come visit and drive through the mountains during fall and watch the leaves change! Its an unbelievable experience.

What do not you want about California? i love residing in California, i could not in any respect commerce for the East Coast!! @Childrenofthenight the important clarification why i don't like the East coast is because i love warm climate, hate the chilly. So no, i could not in any respect live to inform the tale in Alaska.

Lived on the East coast for 30 years. Even now I think that it was better than the west coast and that California people are a little.... well... unusual.

Now I also enjoy plenty of sunshine, warm weather and great fruit. I live in Philippines.

East coast people like the lower chances of an earthquake when they don't live in California.

HELL NO!!! I grew up in Southern California and you could not pay me to move back there. It was a great place to grow up but not anymore. Way too crowded, the freeways are big parking lots, too expensive, and gang ridden. No thank you.

It's beautiful here in the Bay Area. About 60 today and sunny. Can't beat it.
