You need to find the city that you potentially want to work for's website. All your info should be there. You need to have a HS Diploma, sometimes 60 credit hours in college. Depends on the dept, either at least 18 or 21 years old. Usually, you get sponsored to go the an academy (means that the dept. pays for you to go, then you give them X number of years in return), then you go thru some physicals, lie detector, interviews, background checks. Depending on the size of the dept, it can take 2 months to 2 years to actually get into a city's academy. The pay ranges. If you are sponsored then you will get paid by that dept. Starting around $30-38,000 yr, while you're in training. The pays gradually goes up the longer you work for a dept. The academy is somewhere from 3 months to 7 months long. 9-5 type thing, if you live close, you can go home @ night. As far as moving up the ranks quickly, good luck on that. You usually need to be on the force for around 1 year before you can pick up extra work outside being an officer, 3 years before you can put in for a specific job (K9, Swat, etc...), and sometimes to move up, you just need to be patient. The benefits are great, especially if you have a family to provide for....If the pay starts out around like I've said, then it will (@ the 5 year mark) top out at around $57-59,000 a year.

Nah i imagine we ought to continuously save the fat ones. That way they could't seize as a lot as you once you run for having a faux identity or alcohol accessible. there replaced into this one police station I went to and next door replaced right into a donut save. on the airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust lot between both there replaced right into a worn path from one of those number of fat police officials strolling over to get donuts. Explains a lot.
