I have no problems with people tailgating when someone is driving slowly (or even the speed limit) in the passing lane and the slow lane is open. But I flippin' hate people who tailgate when there's no option for the lead person to speed up or to get into another lane (such as a two-lane road or when during rush hour). These people are extreme cowards and I'm guessing suffer from small-penis syndrome. Notice how most tailgaters drive huge SUVs. These people use their large suvs to intimidate and bully in a way they never can in real life.

They do it to intimidate you. There under the stupid impression that you will speed up or get out of there way.Well I'm not exceeding the speed limit for anyone. Also the closer they get the slower I go. If they hit me it's there fault. The ones I really loath are the ones that get pissed off because you actually come to a full stop at a stop sign.

Assuming that the driving force isn't imepeding site visitors, by technique of going 20mph slower than the reduce.....he's no longer breaking any rules. Assuming that the different drivers are annoyed because he is going the reduce, and they opt to pass swifter....they're breaking the regulation. So, which fringe of it are you on? Is he particularly going so sluggish, or are you in elementary words complaining because you're impatient and opt to interrupt the regulation? Edit: LMAO. that's "organic good judgment" that quickly human beings are on the left? particularly? clarify to me precisely the position good judgment applies that individuals should be on one fringe of the line or yet another? How about quickly human beings pass in the middle? Or the right? Or how about the real good judgment of human beings now unlikely quickly in the first position, because particularly good judgment will instruct that rushing decreases your shuttle time by technique of somewhat a million%, and is no longer even nicely worth it, once you do the mathematics. yet doing math might want to be logical...and also you're only fearful about the "tards".....yeah...ok.

Why do people kill? Why are people rude? Everybody's different, part of life is dealing with others.
Some tips for not getting tailgated:
Don't drive slow, if it's 25 dont drive exactly 25, your speedo could be off by a few mph. Mine is off by 3, so when im going 25 the person behind me sees 22, if their speedo is faster they may see me going 20mph. Not saying speed but you can go a few above the limit and cops won't care.
Second, if you're on a two lane highway, don't go in the right lane unless you're passing. My sister has a bad habit of staying in the right lane, then complaining when people tailgate her.
Third, if you're in the right line and someone is tailgating, slow down a little, the person will either get fed up and pass you, realize they're tailgating (cause sometime you don't realize you're tailgating the person infront of you) and pass you, or back off.

if your in the left lane pull over let them pass . Go with flow of traffic if there is others on the road.. a good driver drives in a safe matter in spite of others. a good defensive driving course may be a good idea for you.. dont ever think you know it all. Iam retired instructor. and never stopped learning.

I think most of it is carelessness... People think that by getting as far FORWARD as they can- they're going to get to their destinations sooner. Of course, what ACTUALLY happens- is that they end up rear-ending the car in front of them & arrive alot LATER than they expected! I'm afraid it's human nature- & all the griping in the world isn't going to change it... It's stupidity- what can I tell you?

everyone is in a hurry these days, and their not thinking about if their tailgating is bothering you. everyone needs to give themselves an extra 10 min, slow down and enjoy the day!
